The Write By The Sea Literary Festival returns to Kilmore Quay from September 25th to 27th for its 11th year.
The popular volunteer-led festival will bring together leading Irish and international writers for a weekend of author conversations, readings, workshops and masterclasses.
Highlights include discussions on literary translation, crime writing, historical fiction and creativity, with writers including Mary Costello, Sam Blake, Andrea Carter, Sara Baume and Danielle McLaughlin taking part.
The weekend will also feature the popular ‘Go Moch ar Maidin’ sunrise event on Sunday, combining poetry, stories and local music.
With tickets already selling quickly, organisers are encouraging anyone hoping to attend to book soon.
