Young female brought to Wexford General Hospital following a road traffic collision

A young female was brought to Wexford General Hospital following a road traffic collision yesterday evening.

The incident involving a car and a pedestrian occured in the Ballagh at 4:40pm. The road was closed for a number of hours to allow for an examination of the scene but has since reopened. The young female's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
