Wexford Independent Councillor Leonard Kelly joined John on this week's programme to reinstate his message of shopping local at what is being described as a "crucial" time for Wexford's retail businesses. Following the release of the first Gaelic football video game in over 20 years, the Director and Tech Lead at Buck Eejit Games, Peadar McMahon was on the show to explain more about the development of the game, and how his Belfast-based studio defied the odds to get the game on the shelves.
Two weeks on from her first appearance on the programme, Kilkenny native and Uganda-based Journalist Miriam Donohoe spoke about her team's progress on an extraordinary humanitarian convoy travelling from Kenya to Uganda to deliver 11 ambulances that will become mobile palliative care clinics for critically ill patients in remote communities.
...and finally, we heard the musical stylings of the Clody Community Choir from Bunclody, as the group’s Musical Director, Jennifer Byrne explained more about a fundraising concert that the group are partaking in, in the coming weeks.
