Between Two Worlds – Exploring the Unexplained
What if the world we see is only part of the story? Is there something beyond what we can see, hear and explain?
This week on Shine a Light, Siobhán Murphy ventures into the mysterious world of ancient Irish beliefs, spirituality and the unexplained, meeting three guests with extraordinary stories to tell.
Eighth-generation bean feasa, or Irish wise woman, Lorraine O'Dwyer explores Celtic spirituality, fairy folklore, traditional healing and the ancient festival of Samhain, questioning whether modern Ireland is losing its connection with the traditions of our ancestors.
Our Lady's Island farmer and author Richard Davis shares remarkable experiences he believes involve the spirit world, including a mysterious man in black who appeared throughout his childhood and the story of a young girl named Frances Emily, whose alleged encounters inspired part of his book Nobody Listens.
And Bunclody clairvoyant Dee Dee Keogh discusses her lifelong experiences of mediumship, her claimed ability to communicate with spirits and the grieving families who seek her help.
Three very different perspectives, three extraordinary stories and one intriguing question: Could there be more to life than what we know?
Join Siobhán Murphy for Shine a Light: Between Two Worlds, an exploration of belief, folklore and the mysteries that continue to fascinate us.
