This spring, the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) is taking its Local Groups Road Show on a tour around Ireland's coastline, aiming to build capacity and generate interest in whale watching and cetacean conservation. The Road Show is a fantastic opportunity for communities to learn more about the vital role of cetaceans in our marine ecosystem and how we can protect them.
On Friday, April 10th, the event will take place at the Stella Maris Centre in Kilmore Quay from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. This free event invites locals and visitors alike to come and discover how they can get involved in cetacean conservation efforts while also learning about the incredible whales and dolphins that inhabit our seas.
Whether you're a seasoned wildlife enthusiast or a curious newcomer, the IWDG's Local Groups Road Show offers valuable insights and opportunities to contribute to the protection of Ireland's marine life.
