Rafa Nadal has been forced to withdraw from next week's US Open. The defending men's champion won't be able to take his place in the field because of a wrist injury. The 28-year-old has been out of action since last month's early Wimbledon defeat and confirmed to his followers on facebook that he wouldn't be able to defend his title.
