The Coach Tourism and Transport Council of Ireland (CTTC) will hold its 2026 Annual General Meeting at Johnstown Castle, Co. Wexford, on Friday, 27th February. The event, hosted by Brendan Crowley, Vice Chair of the CTTC and Managing Director of Wexford Bus, will bring together commercial bus and coach operators from across Ireland.
The AGM will feature high-profile guest speakers, including Eoghan O'Mara Walsh, CEO of the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC), who will discuss the evolving role of the coach tourism sector. Other speakers include Dominic Hannigan from the National Transport Authority and representatives from Daimler Buses.
A site visit to Rosslare Europort will kick off the day, followed by the formal AGM and the election of officers. The event will conclude with a networking dinner at the Talbot Hotel, Wexford Town.
Brendan Crowley expressed his enthusiasm about hosting the event in Wexford, highlighting the importance of the AGM for discussing industry challenges and strengthening relationships. CTTC Chairperson David Conway emphasized the significance of the AGM for setting the direction of the sector, especially in light of sustainability and transport reform.
