25,000 people visit wexford on ice
It's been confirmed that 25,000 people have so far visited 'Wexford on ice' and it's proved so popular that it's to stay on the quayfront for an extra week. The ice rink introduced as part of Wexford Winterland will remain open until this Sunday. Barry Ennis is from Lantern dot ie which helped bring the festival to the town over the Christmas period. He says they've employed 40 people at the various attractions and have decided to keep the ice rink open for longer than originally planned because of customer demand.
