Four women are being appointed to top positons on Wexford County Council. Five new roles have been created for the county in the new municipal districts brought in under the Local Authority Reform Act last year. An internal recruitment drive saw the five postions going to Sinead Casey, Amanda Byrne, Liz Hore, Angela Laffan and Padraig O'Gorman. They will work closely with the senior management in the council in areas still to be designated to them.
