The power of music, creativity and inclusion was celebrated last week as the Ability Summer School of Rock came to a close with the launch of an original song and CD created by the participants.
The week-long initiative, organised by AD Caller, brought students together to explore acting, songwriting, recording and performance, giving them the opportunity to develop new skills and express themselves through music.
The highlight of the programme was the recording and launch of the group’s own original song, a project that showcased the talent, teamwork and creativity of everyone involved.
Joining us to reflect on the experience are Andrew Berry, who led the songwriting and recording sessions, Caroline Flanagan, along with singers Lisa Redmond and Sean Allen, who shared their experiences of being part of the Ability Summer School of Rock.
