Almost 2000 esb customers still without power in county wexford
Over 60 thousand ESB customers - including almost 2000 in County Wexford - are without power this morning. Winds have caused extensive damage to the electricity network as a result of flying debris, fallen trees and broken poles. Enniscorthy, Wexford and their surrounding areas were some of the worst affected with 8000 homes and businesses without power early this morning - around 6000 of those have now had their power restored. Nationally while the damage is concentrated mainly in the south and west, there are customers without supply throughout the country.
