5 people have died after an earthquake in Mexico including a baby at a hospital which lost power, causing the infant's ventilator to stop working.

Mexico's president says the 8.2 magnitude quake was the strongest the country has seen in a hundred years. It set off a tsunami warning for several South American countries - and shook buildings hundreds of miles away.
