Ballot to take place at kerry foods in shillelagh over proposed pay reductions
A ballot of workers at Kerry Foods in Shillelagh is to take place next week over pay reductions proposed by the company. The proposals apply to workers in the Bonus Incentive Scheme and the reductions are in the region of 20 to 35 per cent. Kerry Foods employs eight hundred in Shillelagh in the manufacture of cooked meats and over half of these are general operatives who are part of the Bonus incentive Scheme. SIPTU is currently assessing the proposals on behalf of the workers.
