The station expects Expo to become an annual event.
South East Radio is proud to announce the resounding success of its first-ever Home & Energy Expo, held today at St. Peter’s College, Wexford. Sponsored by Envirobead, part of the Net Zero Group, the event saw almost 4,000 attendees engage with over 30 exhibitors, making it a milestone occasion for the region.
The event was opened by Minister for Housing, James Browne, who argued for the success of the Government’s retrofit incentives, while Labour TD George Lawlor advocated for grant scheme reforms to enhance accessibility. Wexford GAA star Lee Chin was a crowd favourite, offering autographs and participating in a one-on-one interview with South East Radio’s Alan Corcoran.

Exhibitors included solar companies, financial service providers and even an innovative virtual reality kitchen design experience. Wexford County Council took the opportunity to launch a new affordable housing scheme, with strong interest among young families.
Will Faulkner, Managing Director, stated, “We are thrilled with the turnout. Our deepest thanks to Envirobead, all exhibitors, and the dedicated staff of South East Radio. We are committed to keeping this event free and even bigger next year.”
