Evan Bailey from New Ross has won a Bronze medal in the 200 meters Freestyle at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Lublin Poland last night. It is his 1st ever international podium and he also set a new Irish record of 1:41.48 and tied 3rd with Polish swimmer Kamil Sieradzki to share the Bronze Its his 3rd Irish record in 2 days. It is a remarkable achievement as he was ranked 7th in the semi finals.
