BROWNE - MORE NEEDED FOR MENTAL HEALTH A Wexford shadow minister is calling for a 37-and-a-half million euro increase in funding for mental health services in next year's budget. Fianna Fáil says there's a staffing crisis in public mental health services, which can only be addressed through increased investment. The party says the current staffing level for psychiatric services is 75 percent of that needed. And mental health spokesperson, Wexford TD James Browne, says the inconsistent availability of mental health services around the country also need to be addressed.
