Calls for raising entry rate to higher income tax

Raising the entry rate to the higher income tax bracket is a 'no-brainer' according to IBEC.

The group's Head of Tax and Fiscal Policy is backing calls by Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes to increase the entry point from 34 thousand euro to 50 thousand. Most other countries automatically raise the income tax entry point in line with wage increases.
