Celtic link buyout
Celtic Link Ferries in Rosslare have exited the ferry service after an offer of a buyout came from Stena Line The company has been in operation for ten years and is owned by the the O'Flaherty Brothers from Kilmore Quay. Celtic Link said this morning that competition and operating costs on the service - which operates three times a week to France - was a major factor in their decision to sell. Spokesman Denis O'Flaherty said competition and costs were increasing all the time and that it was with a heavy hand that they sold the business.
