Co-pilot appears to have deliberately crashed plane into french alps
It's been confirmed that just one of the two pilots of the Germanwings airliner that crashed in the French Alps was in the cockpit at the time it went down. All 150 people onboard the plane were killed on Tuesday. French Prosecutor Brice Robin says the co-pilot refused to open the door and appears to have crashed deliberately. Meanwhile the Taoiseach has extended his sympathy to the German and Spanish people on behalf of Ireland after Tuesday's crash. A book of condolence has opened at the Mansion House in Dublin for the victims of the Germanwings plane crash.
