Coveney again pledges to visit kilmore quay fishermen
The Minister for Agriculture and the Marine has reiterated his promise to visit Kilmore Quay's fishermen. Simon Coveney told South East Radio's Morning Mix that he's continually in contact with the area's fisherman but says he will follow through on his commitment to visit the seaside community. It follows the destruction of their gear - leading some to go without work for weeks as a result of bad weather in recent months. But Minister Coveney says his promise to meet those struggling to keep the industry alive remains in place.
