Deputy George Lawlor says homeowners are already facing higher quotes and warns profitable energy firms must not exploit global instability to add to families’ cost-of-living pressures. 

He’s demanding Ministers outline immediate steps to prevent price gouging and protect households.

Speaking to South East Radio News, Labour’s enterprise spokesperson says heating is a basic necessity, not a luxury, and stressed regulators must act swiftly to monitor prices and hold companies accountable.
