McDonald’s Wexford has won the RMHC Golden Santa Hat Award for the fourth consecutive year, raising over €21,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC Ireland).
The Wexford restaurant sold almost 11,000 Santa Hats during the 2025 festive season, the highest of all 96 McDonald’s locations in Ireland.
The nationwide campaign raised over €160,000, which will support families with seriously ill children at Children’s Health Ireland in Crumlin, Dublin, including the new 52-room Ronald McDonald House.
Lorraine Dowdall, a staff member at Wexford, shared her personal connection to the charity, having stayed in a Ronald McDonald House herself.
