Uisce Éireann says it is aware of reports of discoloured water affecting parts of Wexford Town, Townparks and Hill Street.
The utility says the issue follows increased demand on the network, which caused sediment to become disturbed.
Crews are monitoring the supply, and customers are advised to run their cold kitchen tap until the water clears.
Water is safe to drink once clear.
