Divers retrieve air asia flight data recorder from java sea
Indonesian navy divers have recovered the flight data recorder from the crashed Air Asia plane in the Java Sea. The cockpit voice recorder has also been located, but remains trapped under debris. It is hoped both will help investigators understand what happened to the aircraft which crashed last month, killing all 162 people on board. Tatang Kurniadi is from Indonesia's National Transportation Safety Board. "These flight data recorder seems good - but it depend to the memory inside the broken chip" he said. "But I'm sure that according to our experience, these flight data recorders can be opened in good condition" he added.
