The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is launching its annual Drink Tea for MND campaign this March, urging communities across Ireland to host tea parties to raise vital funds for families affected by MND.
Lorraine Kelly Donnelly, the campaign ambassador, shares her personal journey after being diagnosed with MND in 2025. Lorraine encourages people to sign up and host a tea party—big or small—to support over 470 families living with MND in Ireland.
The funds raised will help provide specialist nursing care, equipment, and support services for MND patients across the country. IMNDA's neurology nurses, like Charlene from Donegal, stress the importance of community support in delivering much-needed care to families.
To take part, sign up at Drink Tea for MND and host a tea event in March. Every cup helps make a difference for those facing MND.
