The Wexford Road Policing Unit have reported a driver travelling 152KM Per hour in a 100 zone.
The speed checkpoint took place on the New Ross bypass In addition to speeding, the driver was found to be operating on a provisional license without an accompanying driver and lacked insurance. A roadside drug test was administered, which the driver failed due to the presence of cannabis. Legal proceedings are expected to follow.
