Enniscorthy fire brought under control
A major fire in the Weafer Street area of Enniscorthy broke out this afternoon leading to the area being sealed off. The blaze is believed to have broken out sometime after 2 o'clock at John Clokes electrical shop. Nearby shops, offices and apartments had to be evacuated and a traffic plan was put in place. It's unclear as of yet what caused the fire but traffic restrictions are expected to be in place until later this evening.
