The ESB have announced they'll be providing €12,000 to community groups near the Carnsore Wind Farm.
The three groups to benefit from the money are the Paisti Beaga pre-school, St Mary's Day Care Centre and the Tacumshane Old School committee. The funding comes as part of the ESB Wind Farm Community fund which aims to improve voluntry projects located near ESB run wind farms around the country. The company has given €5.5 million in funding to 604 projects over the last six years.
