Fears of further damage to wexford coastline following storms
There are fears that further damage could be done to coastal areas in County Wexford following recent storms. In Duncannon large parts of the beach were eroded and foundations of houses were exposed. There are fears that the main road into the village could collapse as a result of strong seas and high winds. The National Emergency Co-ordination Committee is meeting in Dublin today. They're reviewing the impact of the bad weather. Local authorities have been asked to provide the Government with an initial assessment by next week.
