Fg td d'arcy backs tax rebate for first time buyers

Young couples on the average industrial wage should be the main beneficiaries of the new tax rebate scheme for first time buyers according to Michael D'Arcy.

The rebate could be worth twenty thousand euros under measures introduced in the last budget by Finance Minister Michael Noonan. Wexford Fine Gael TD Michael D'Arcy says the new scheme is important to give young people the opportunity to get on the property ladder.
