Wexford town will come to a standstill today as the funeral of former Mayor Dominic Kiernan takes place.
Dominic Kiernan was Mayor of Wexford on different occasions spanning three decades in 1987, 1996 and 2003. A lifelong member of Fianna Fail he also carried on a successful auctioneering business in the town and was involved in many community activities. The funeral mass will take place at noon in Clonard Church.
