South East Radio has secured four nominations in the 2026 IMRO Radio Awards.
The annual awards recognise the best in Irish radio across news, current affairs, music, sport, speech and specialist programming and are regarded as one of the biggest nights in the Irish radio industry.
South East Radio has been shortlisted in the categories of Podcast of the Year, Current Affairs Programme – Local/Regional, Magazine Programme and Specialist Speech Programme.
The station’s podcast Back to Life – Co. Wexford Stories of Derelict Homes has been nominated for Podcast of the Year.
The Loose Cannons has been shortlisted in the Magazine Programme category.
A South East Radio feature marking International Women’s Day has also been nominated in the Specialist Speech Programme category.
Meanwhile, Morning Mix with Alan Corcoran has been shortlisted in the Current Affairs Programme – Local/Regional category.
The nominations place South East Radio among stations from across the country competing for honours at this year’s IMRO Radio Awards.
The winners will be announced at the 2026 awards ceremony later this year.
