Gardai carrying out examination at kerry apartment after baby death
A team from the Garda technical bureau is carrying out a forensic examination of an apartment in Kerry today. It follows the death of an 11-month-old baby boy yesterday evening. Emergency services were called to an apartment on Park Place, Upper High Street in Killarney where they treated the baby boy. However he was pronounced dead a short time later. A man in his 30's was taken from the scene to University Hospital Kerry, in Tralee with serious injuries. His condition is described as stable. A post mortem will be carried out later to establish how the baby died.
