Gardai in Gorey are encouraging witnesses to come forward after a number of headstones were vandalised in the town recently.
Some of the headstones in the old cemetery in Clonattin were broken and spray-painted by vandals last week. Speaking on the Morning Mix, Sergeant Colm Matthews described the damage done and appealed for residents in the area to contact them: [audio wav="https://www.southeastradio.ie/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Colm-Matthews-Gorey-Vandalism.wav"][/audio]
