Gunman kills two in louisiana cinema shooting
Two people have been have been shot dead at a cinema in the US state of Louisiana. Police say the attacker in Lafayette - who was a 58-year-old man - then turned the gun on himself. Seven others have been injured. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has visited some of the victims at a local hospital. He says one of the survivors can thank a fellow teacher for quick thinking. "Her friend literally jumped over her, and in her account, actually saved her life" he said. "If she hadn't done that her friend got shot - the fellow teacher got shot - that bullet she believed would have hit her in the head" he added.
