A public information evening for a new footpath scheme in Taghmon will be held next week.
Wexford County Council will unveil plans for new pedestrian infrastructure which will be located close to St Fintan's National School.
The works are part of the Safe Routes to School initiative to improve access to the facility for pupils and their families.
Part of the scheme includes a new pedestrian crossing close to the handball alley with extra parking spaces added as well.
Members of the community are welcome to view drawings and meet with project design team in relation to proposed changes to Chapel Street.
The event will be held at the school at 7pm on Wednesday the 26th of August.
For those who are unable to attend, the drawings of the scheme will be available to view on the council's website, https://consult.wexfordcoco.ie/
Wexford County Council will consider any submissions or observations made in writing regarding the proposal, which can be submitted to Active Travel, Wexford County Council, County Hall, Carricklawn, Wexford, Y35 WY93.
