Irish pride which has a bakery in wexford goes into receivership
It's been confirmed Irish Pride - which employs a number of people in County Wexford - has gone into receivership. The company is one of the largest bakeries in Ireland - with a factory in Taghmon in Wexford and another in Ballinrobe in Mayo. Irish Pride also has 23 depots across the country. The company is owned by WHW Bakeries and is also the distribution partner with the LifeFibre Company and McCambridge. Staff have been given assurances on pay and that the change in control would not result in an interruption to trading. A statement from the company is expected shortly.
