Isme says small firms in wexford are finding it difficult to access funding from banks
Many Wexford businessess continue to be starved of finance. That's according to the Irish Small * Medium Enterprises Association. It says 50 per-cent of companies who applied for funding in the last three months were refused credit by their banks. ISME's Quarterly Bank watch survey published today, shows the cost of banking is also continuing to increase. 59 per-cent of respondents say banks are making it more difficult to access finance while, only 5 per-cent say they are satisfied with Government intervention in SME lending.
