The 2023 Wexford Festival Opera is to be officially opened by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar Tonight
The annual fireworks display will commence on Wexford's Quay at 7.30 p.m over the harbour. The programme for the 72nd festival centres around the theme of Women and War. Organisers say the event will cater for approximately 20,000 people this year and Wexford Quays will closed to traffic from half 6 until 8pm.This will include all roads leading to Wexford Quays. Disabled parking is available at Paul Quay car park (across from TK Maxx), however cut off point for entry is 6pm.
