Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum and Gardens in Wexford has won a prestigious CIE Tours International Award of Excellence for the second consecutive year.
The award, based on customer feedback, recognizes attractions that achieve a satisfaction rating of over 92%.
Johnstown Castle has become a key visitor destination in Ireland’s Ancient East since opening to the public in 2019, attracting over 63,000 visitors in 2025.
The Irish Heritage Trust also manages Strokestown Park and the National Famine Museum in Roscommon, which also received the award.
