A man has been arrested and charged after Gardaí detected him in possession of an offensive weapon during patrols in Wexford Town.
The incident happened on Sunday, August 30th, when members of the Wexford Community Policing Unit were carrying out patrols in the town.
The man was arrested and subsequently charged.
Gardaí say regular patrols are continuing throughout Wexford Town as part of ongoing community engagement and crime prevention initiatives.
