A man has been charged following the seizure of a gun and 40 thousand euro worth of drugs in Wexford on Tuesday.
The man, aged in his 30s, failed to stop for Gardaí, attempted to flee the scene and rammed a patrol car near Enniscorthy in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
He was subsequently apprehended, and a point 32 auto pistol, four rounds of ammunition, around 40,000 euro worth of drugs and more than 8,000 euro worth of cash were discovered in a vehicle search.
He is due to appear at Gorey District Court this afternoon.
