Man injured following a shooting in drogheda
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident in Drogheda last night after a man in his 30's received gunshot injures to his leg. The incident happened at the Watery Hill steps, on the Donore Road at around 9.30pm before the man made his way to a nearby shop where he raised the alarm. He was taken by Ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he is said to be in a stable condition. The scene is being preserved while gardai carry out a technical examination.
