A 42-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the murder of 27-year-old Stephen Ring, whose body was discovered at Carrigfoyle Quarry, County Wexford, nearly two weeks after he went missing in October 2024.
Ring was last seen on October 15, 2024, and his remains were found 13 days later. Christopher Judge, of Pairc na Dara, Clonard, County Wexford, was charged with his murder and appeared before the Central Criminal Court in Dublin today, where he entered a guilty plea.
Judge is scheduled to return to court on March 27, 2026, for a sentencing hearing. A co-accused, Jane Corcoran, 34, of the same address, was sentenced to six years in prison last month for aiding and abetting the murder.
