Independent Ireland MEP for the Midlands Ciaran Mullooly is questioning whether Chair of the Board of Bord Bia Larry Murrin can continue in his role amid the ongoing controversy over Brazilian beef imports.
The MEP says there is a perceived conflict of interest if Ireland's food promotion agency is linked to companies importing beef from Brazil while Irish farmers face strict production standards.
