Met Eireann has extended its snow-ice warning for 14 counties.
The alert will be in place for Wexford as well as Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wicklow, and all of Munster, until six o'clock this evening. A nationwide ice warning meanwhile is in place until nine o'clock tomorrow morning. Alan O Reilly from Carlow Weather predicts Wexford however will escape any serious snow.
