Minister Kevin Boxer Moran has announced additional funding approval for flood and coastal protection works at Seaview in Bastardstown, County Wexford.
The Office of Public Works has approved €500,535 to strengthen rock armour protection along a 70-metre stretch of coastline, safeguarding the access road serving several local homes.
This funding completes the project, adding to the €2.03 million previously allocated under four earlier Minor Works applications.
In total, more than €2.5 million is now secured to protect this part of the Wexford coast from flooding and coastal erosion.
