MS Ireland is inviting people across the South East to a World MS Day event on Friday, 22nd May at the Brandon House Hotel, New Ross, Co. Wexford. This event is part of the global World MS Day, which highlights the realities of living with multiple sclerosis and the importance of awareness, understanding, and community support.
The 2026 campaign, MS Journeys: Many Faces, One Community, celebrates the diverse experiences of living with MS and the resilience of the MS community in Ireland.
The New Ross event will provide practical advice and expert information for people with MS, their families, and supporters. Speakers include:
- Mary McDonald, MABS – financial health, entitlements, and managing finances
- Hugh McLoughlin, MS Ireland Physiotherapist – exercise, physiotherapy, and online classes
- Dr Jasna David, Neurologist, and Liz Daly, MS Nurse, University Hospital Waterford – symptom awareness and maximizing MS appointments
Registration is from 10:15am to 10:45am, with lunch at 1:15pm. The cost is €10 per person. Places must be booked before 15th May at southeast@ms-society.ie or by calling 056 7777771.
