Nearly €149,000 in Arts Council funding awarded to three Wexford arts organisations

Three Wexford arts organisations are to share almost €149,000 in Arts Council funding for activities planned for 2027.

A total of €148,865 has been awarded to recipients in the county under the Arts Council’s Arts Grant Funding scheme.

Four Rivers Theatre Company is receiving €80,365 for theatre, while Music for Wexford has been awarded €26,500 and Musici Ireland will receive €42,000 for music.

The funding is part of a national investment of €17.2 million, with 220 arts organisations and individual artists across the country receiving support.

The Arts Grant Funding scheme supports artistic activity and artist development, as well as projects that give the public opportunities to engage with the arts.

Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport Patrick O’Donovan says the investment demonstrates the State’s continued commitment to Ireland’s creative culture.

The funding will support the delivery of arts activities across a range of disciplines throughout 2027.
