A Wexford councillor is launching a new series of monthly community clinics in Gorey aimed at helping residents deal with local issues and access public services.
Councillor Mary Farrell, who represents the Gorey–Kilmuckridge area, says the clinics are about making local government more accessible and giving people a chance to raise concerns face-to-face.The sessions will allow residents to discuss issues such as housing, roads, planning, and access to council and state supports.
Councillor Farrell says if a problem can be resolved locally, it should be dealt with locally. She’s encouraging anyone with concerns, big or small, to attend, saying early engagement can often prevent issues from escalating.
The clinics will run once a month in Gorey, with dates and venues to be confirmed.
